Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress comedian, writer, and actress. O'Hara has won a number awards which include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award), two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018 she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara first drew notice as an actor in the year 1974 as a member of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She was a part of the principal cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara began working with Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing abilities, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was included in the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board, which was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
