Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born on November 24 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor for The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will leave the show in May 2021 and launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. She has been featured on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her continued fascination with politics to her experience as a newly-wed mom during the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan while she was in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the citizens of the country and developed an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. In May of 2017, she founded the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
